MRC St. Cloud has placed consumers with disabilities
or other barriers to employment into entry-level to
professional-level employment since 1990.
Individualized Placement assists with building
self-esteem and confidence during the job search. Consumers begin
their placement process by completing a Job Readiness Skill Building
Packet to ensure they are prepared for the job search process and
then move into Internet for the Job Seeker Training, a free course
offered to all consumers enrolled in placement through MRC.
Consumers attend weekly job clubs, which include employment-related
discussions and one-to-one counseling time with their employment
specialist. All consumers placed are followed for a set period of
time to ensure job stability.
