MRC Duluth Evaluation and Assessment Services

MRC Evaluation Services began in 1960 and continue to focus on consumer assessments to determine employment potentials.

Standard Evaluations identify appropriate career options for consumers. Evaluators rate employment and training potential, transferable skills, and other vocational characteristics to identify the best employment options for the individual. Tools include: psychometric testing, work samples, vocational exploration, interest testing, and transferable skills analysis.

Following the completion of vocational evaluations, a report is written that reflects and captures the assessment process of the individual being evaluated. The report will include consumer’s strengths, consumer’s limitations, and evaluator’s recommendations.

Community Based Asssessments are available at jobsites in the workplace. An MRC Evaluator assesses workplace communication and workplace skills while identifying barriers to the consumer’s job success. A final report with specific information on the Community Based Assessment and vocational recommendations is written.

Computer Skills Assessments are offered in three assessment areas: Technical, Microsoft Office Software, and Internet Skills.

Public Transportation Coaching helps consumers access information about transportation routes, understand fare and pass options, and learn how to use public transportation.
